Otto Addo is the man of the moment after helping Ghana to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars in Group I after winning eight, drawing one and losing one in the ten games played.

Ghana finished six points ahead of Madagascar who finished second. Head coach Otto Addo still has not convinced many Ghanaians because the team failed to qualify for the AFCON 2025 to be played in Morocco.

When Otto Addo was quizzed about his future, the head coach said, “I’m not scared to loose my job, my focus is to perform well and make Ghanaians happy”.

The Hamburg-born former Ghanaian midfielder is not afraid to be sacked. Football fans across the country are well divided now with many calling for help for the tactician.

Black Stars now have eight good months to prepare for the big show in North America with some changes expected in the playing body but no body knows what will happen exactly with the coaching department.

Sports Minister Kofi Adams in an interview refused to join the calls to replace Otto Addo.

He revealed that he is not a professional football coach to determine whether Otto Addo is competent enough to lead the team to the USA-Canada- Morocco 2026.

The Black Stars are a very talented side and many expect them to play far better than their current performances.
