Sports Minister Kofi Adams is targeting major progress for Ghana in the 2026 World Cup. In an interview with Citi Sports, the Sports Minister, who is also the Member of Parliament for Buem, said, “Our intention is to stay there until the last game. So you have to prepare”.

“You don’t get there, and when you are doing well, before you start calling for that to happen, because once you have qualified, you have to plan ahead, and I saw that some people were a bit worried.

“Why do we have to do it? But we are going in there with the mindset that we will stay all the way to the end,” Kofi Adams concluded.

The Sports Minister is extremely confident Ghana will go all the way to the finals and fight for the trophy.

Ghana will face Panama, England and Croatia in Group L, where many will expect the team to at least finish within the thrid best 8 teams rankings.
