The much-awaited Fury-Usyk 2 is just two days before the world witnesses another blockbuster heavyweight bout.
Tyson Fury had won 34, drawn 1 of his 35 professional bouts before meeting the great Ukrainian boxer in May 2024 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he was brutalized, bruised and severely beaten.
On Saturday at the same venue in Riyadh, Fury will have the chance to win the WBC heavyweight title;
For WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles.
Speaking ahead of the bout, Fury promised destruction of Usyk
“I’ll end his career; you’ll never hear about Oleksandr Usyk again after this”.
The British fighter also shockingly revealed that he had not spoken to his wife in three months, saying, “It’s been a long camp, hasn’t seen my wife and kids in three months.
“I haven’t spoken to [my wife] at all in three months. Not one word sacrificed a lot. But it’ll all be worth it, 100 per cent.”
On Instagram, the 35-year-old wife of Tyson Fury, Paris Fury, shared a video of her husband speaking about not speaking to his family in three months.
“People don’t see the sacrifices made. I’ve let him solely concentrate on this fight,” Paris Fury said.
“It seems like he’s been gone forever, especially with no contact. But if it’s what he needs.”
The Furys share seven kids of which four are boys and three girls.
The main event will commence at 10 pm on Saturday.
