The Paris 2024 Olympic Games is just four days to commence and the Olympic Committee has announced that a whopping 8.8 million tickets are sold, the highest ever tickest sold in the history of the Games.

It’s a refreshing news for sports fans when compared to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games when due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition was played in an empty venues.

The Local Organising Competition has revealed that they have achieved their target in terms of tickets selling even though half a million tickets are still unsold.

There are still 100m final tickets for sale as well as tickets for the Opening Ceremony which is due to be organised outside a stadium for the first time in the history of the Olympic Games.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on the famous Seine River with boats carrying athletes and officials to many popular places around Paris with over 300,000 fans expected to watch the ceremony. France has confimed that they want the Paris Olympic Games to feel like a festival.

Football and Rugby Sevens will start on Wednesday with Opening Ceremony been organised on Friday night.
