Pastor Mensah Otabil: “God doesn’t choose leaders for countries”

Founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church, Pastor Mensa Otabil has disclosed that God doesnt choose leaders for countries.

“God doesn’t choose leaders for countries, if so then he has been making a lot of mistakes in Africa, Mensah Otabil said.

The African continent’s biggest problem is leadership. Leaders over the years have caused more pains and hardship to the people of the continent.

West Africa is among the part of the continent that has suffered for many decades due to bad leadership and still continue to suffer.

Corruption, political instability, nepotism and unaccountability have become the new norm in Africa. These evil practices have been accepted by African leaders and they continue to destroy the image of the continent.

It will be very difficult for anyone to disagree with Mensah Otabil that God chooses leaders. Leaders are chosen via elections and we all know how elections are won especially in Africa.

There is this believe that it is the almighty God who chooses leaders in most of the Ghanaian communities. If it is God who selects leaders, then why has the West Africa Region been full of selfish and corrupt leaders for almost a century? This is the question Pastor Mensah Otabil is asking.
