When the Radio and TV transfer window opens, nothing stops presenters from declining bumper offers put on their tables.

Per Fillascorner, the newly opened Lawson TV/Radio has been able to make a take-it-or-leave-it offer to the Wontumi Sports team headed by the imperious King Eben. His lieutenants, Kwame Dela and Kwakwu Edilson, have given the green light to end their 4-year marriage with Wontumi TV/Radio.

The exact amount the trio are receiving has not been confirmed, but it is believed they will receive a huge sum of money.

King Eben is probably the biggest brand in Kumasi in terms of Sports broadcasting, as he has a huge number of followers due to his foreign news presentation skills.

The astute Sports broadcaster had worked with Solid FM, Ash FM, and Silver FM before joining Wontumi.

Lawson TV has poached many popular broadcasters from some of the local media stations including Kwame Tanko from Angel TV. The goal is clear; they intend to reign in Oseikrom.

Lawson TV’s Sports will commence in the second week of January 2025, per multiple reports.
