Real Tamale United’s skiper, Baba Kushibo was in Tamale but it was reported he was in action in Dawu when the Tamal-based club was mauled by Dreams.

Lord Adabo was reported to have opened the scoring for RTU in their embarrasing 8-1 defeat against Dreams FC in Week 28 of the Ghana Premier League while he was also in Tamale.

It was a criminal offence that rocked our football as the entire RTU was involved in the act.

News emanating from the Ghana Football Association says that Real Tamale United Football Club has been fined Ghc100,000 by the Ghana Football Association for using unregistered players in their game against Dreams Football Club.

Assistant Coach Iddi Manza, Team Doctor Abdul Somed, Team Manager Alhaji Tanko Jetuma, Operations Manager Alhaji Yakeen and others banned 1(one) year in all football related activities.

The punishment is not as severe as expected because what happened on 12th June 2024 was so embarrasing and no amount of words can describe it.

RTU suffered relegation in the 2023-24 season.
