When Arsenal revealed their interest in Chelsea’s young English midfielder Noni Madueke, the fans of the club criticised manager Mikel Arteta for that decision because they believe he is not good enough, and besides, he is too expensive for a player who will be deputising for star boy Bukayo Saka.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has slammed the fans of the Gunners for already showing a lack of respect and admiration for their incoming forward.

” I have never seen anything like this before, and I hope I don’t ever again. Like I said earlier, just imagine this was your best friend, one of your family members, your brother, son…then tell me how you would feel if they were on the receiving end of this vulgar behaviour?”

Madueke, 23, has joined Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea in a deal worth 50M pounds after passing his medical tests.

Arsenal fans have warned the club hierarchy to stop buying players from Chelsea because they feel they are not good enough for Chelsea, and it is the reason why they sell them to them.

#NoToMadueke has trended on X and other social media platforms, and the reason is so simple: Arsenal fans are pissed with his signing.
