French media L’Equipe has revealed that Arsenal’s dependable defender William Saliba will miss at least the next three weeks for the Gunners after he suffered an injury against Liverpool at Anfield.

After the scan, Arsenal and France doctors collaborated and announced the extent of his injury.

The news is a huge blow for the London-based club as he will miss the club’s next game in all competitions.

Matches William Saliba will miss:

Nottingham Forest – H (Premier League)

Athletic Bilbao – A (Premier League)

Manchester City – H (Premier League)

Who will replace Saliba?

Newly signed centre-backs Mosquera and Hincapie are ready-made defenders who can replace him perfectly. Spanish defender Mosquera replaced Saliba at Anfield and is expected to start Arsenal’s game against Nottingham Forest when the league returns.

Hincapie is also another option who could be in the starting XI because of his quality.
