Samartex SC has announced the signing of RTU’s winger Baba Kishibo. The 26-year-old winger has been with RTU for the last three seasons and has finally joined the winners of the Ghana Premier League.
Baba Kushibo scored 4 goals in 30 appearances for the beleaguered RTU and also captained them in the 2023-24 season.
RTU is not getting a pesewa from the deal because Baba Kushibo’s contract has expired.
In a statement by Samartex SC, the club welcomed Kushibo via thwir Facebook wall.
“We are pleased to officially announce the signing of the seasoned winger, Baba Kushibo, who served as the Captain of Real Tamale United during the 2023/24 season. He joins our club on a free transfer, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our team.
“Baba Kushibo, a distinguished graduate of the University of Education, Winneba, has committed to a two-year contract with our club, wrote Samartex on Facebook.
Baba is expected to bring his vast experience on board in Samartex’s quest to play in the Money Zone of the CAF Champions League.
