The Congolese towering centre back has exceeded expectations since joining Asante Kotoko from Burkinabe club Rahimo FC in November 2024.

Samba Ndongani Gilbani, 25, has caught the attention of top-notch clubs across the continent after consistently impressing in the famous red and white uniform of the Porcupine Warriors in the Ghana Premier League.

Asante Kotoko is locked in a discussion for contract renewal with the defender’s team, but it seems all the parties involved have yet to reach a favourable agreement.

Reports emanating from Tanzania states that Simba Stars are offering Samba and his camp a signing on fee of $180,000.

The player will receive a monthly salary of $10,000, which is almost four times what the player is currently earning at Asante Kotoko.

It is believed the player will relish the opportunity to join the Tanzanian side if Kotoko fails to match the offer from Simba SC.
