Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Lawyer Sarfo Duku, was not cool and calm on Luv FM when commenting on Mohammed Camara’s red card against Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup, where the Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0.

Burkinabe forward Aziz Ki’s fantastic pass put veteran Amrabat on one-on-one with Mohammed Camara. Amrabat lifted the ball, and Camara stopped it with his hand outside of the eighteen-yard box, which is against the rules and regulations of the game.

The referee initially yellow-carded the Porcupine Warrior but later changed his mind and showed him his marching orders. Shockingly, Camara shoved the referee, which is so unethical.

Sarfo Duku expressed his disappointment about Camara’s red card.

“I think the behaviour he put in was unsporting and quite unfortunate because it could attract further sanctions from CAF.

“Sometimes when players are frustrated, these things happen, but it was not the best way to react.

“It’s bad. You can understand his frustration playing in front of his die-hard fans, but we condemn it and hope it never happens again.

Guinean goalkeeper Mohammed Camara is not part of Karim-Zito’s team to Casablanca to face Wydad on Friday night.
