King Sarkodie shook Oseikrom during his Rapperholic concert. The show was a major success as the stars he invited entertained fans under the blessed pouring rain.

Sarkodie, in an interview with NY DJ, confirmed that he has gotten partners who will help him sign and groom new artists.

“When you sign an artist, you’re technically almost responsible for their life. It’s not supposed to be like that, but that’s what it is, especially where we’re from in Ghana”.

“That, however, doesn’t mean I’m not going to help. I get fulfilled when I see something and bring it to light. I moved away from signing artists because of how fully I have to be involved, but we just had a new partnership where we’re about to start a full label service again, like how we did Sarkcess Music, so we’re still looking for talent,” he said

Signing artists into your label in Ghana is costly because you’re supposed to sponsor everything. Sark lamented the trend but is now fully ready to sponsor whoever they sign.

“I have my eyes on a few, but I’m not going to mention any names until we’re able to get them involved and have the business side sorted,” he shared. Srakodie has disclosed that he has a few artists on my that he would love to sign to his label, but will not disclose their names.

“I’m doing a writing camp. I’ll put the date out. That’s a nice way for me to spot talents, because then we spend time together so I can know the work ethic, vocal ability, star power and more,” he concluded.

Writing camp is what is on the agenda of the multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie. The King is ready to unearth many Ghanaian rap talents, according to his words.
