A driver affiliated with the ride-hailing service, Bolt, has shared an unusual experience involving a female passenger.
According to him, a lady once requested a ride and during their phone conversation, she started asking about his personal life in a flirtatious manner.
He said he was shocked when the lady suggested they go to a nearby guest house for sex.
“When I arrived at her destination, she surprised me by suggesting we go to a nearby guest house for a sexual encounter, saying she was feeling a certain way that afternoon,” he recounted in Twi during an interview with Angel FM.
Reflecting on the challenges of his job, the driver whose name is unknown added, “It’s not easy. We often encounter women who make advances towards us. This lady wasn’t even a sex worker.”
He also recalled another incident where a female passenger requested a short ride and later explained that she had chosen him specifically because she liked his appearance.
“Sometimes passengers request rides just to see you in person. I picked up a passenger once in Taifa who was going to the market nearby. She told me she requested the ride because she wanted to meet me,” he continued.
These interesting encounters highlight the unexpected and sometimes uncomfortable situations drivers may encounter while working for ride-hailing services.
