Spain| Isco scores winner and apologises to former club Real Madrid

A visit to the Benito Villamarin has always been a difficult task for every Laliga team when visiting. In week 26 of the Spanish Laliga, defending champions Real Madrid travelled to Sevilla to face Real Betis with much at stake. A slip by the league leaders will help Atletico Madrid and Barcelona leapfrog them if they can only win their games.

Isco, after the game, apologized to the Real Madrid fans for his celebration.

Atletico Madrid sits on top of the three-horse race Laliga after Julian Alvarez’s sumptuous strike that gave them an important 1-0 win over the formidable Athletic Bilbao.

Barcelona will host Real Sociedad on Sunday afternoon and a win will send them to the top of the table.
