Veteran Gospel musician, McAbraham, has opposed gospel artistes charging for shows, asserting that it’s inappropriate for them to request payment before performing at events.

During an interview with ZionFelix, the ‘Adea Me Pe’ singer emphasised his belief that gospel musicians should not accept payment before or after their performances.

He shared that he has never charged for his appearances, trusting that God rewards his dedication to spreading the gospel through his music.

McAbraham pointed out that by not charging for performances, artistes can potentially receive unexpected blessings, recalling an instance where he was given money after performing for free at an event.

Drawing from his own experiences, he emphasised that gospel musicians should not view their talents as a means for financial gain.
