Two armed robbers who slit the neck of a policewoman and robbed her of her iPhone XR at Tema have been arrested.
Identified as Mustapha Abu, an automechanic, and Sadat Mohammed Issah, an electrician, they rode on a motorbike when they accosted Lance Corporal Confidence Tetteh while she was returning from an evening church service.
Wielding a machete, Mustaph placed the weapon on the officer’s neck, and asked her, Your life or your phone’.
Lance Corporal Tetteh, stationed at Tema Community Two, did not give in, and Mustapha reportedly slashed her neck close to the throat and inflicted a deep wound on her before robbing her of her iPhone XR.
Mustapha Abu and Sadat Mohammed were later arrested the same day, and a search on them led to the retrieval of Lance Corporal Tetteh’s iPhone and three other phones belonging to unknown victims.
