The 2026 FIFA World Cup will kick off in 10 months, where the USA, Canada and Mexico will co-host the entire world.

The U.S. president, Donald Trump, on Friday evening confirmed that the competition is set to bring the U.S. an unbelievable $30 billion.

“The 2026 FIFA World Cup will generate more than $30 billion for the US economy”, the US president said when briefing the press on the 2026 event.

“The draw for the 2026 World Cup will take place on December 5 2025, at the Kennedy Centre in Washington”, he added.

The president appeared to have hinted that he himself might oversee the event.

“It’s the biggest, probably the biggest event in sports, I guess,” said Trump, who made the announcement in an Oval Office event where he was joined by FIFA president Gianni Infantino and Vice President JD Vance.

FIFA and the USA, Canada and Mexico are expecting the most successful and entertaining sporting event ever in the 2026 summer.
