The Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region did not mince his words when describing the current state of affairs under the leadership of the NDC government led by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
Assafuah was asked, “How do you rate John Dramani Mahama’s second coming and the NDC administration?
The MP answered, “Let me use this scenario to describe this government. For those of us who were brought up in the Zongos and close to the Zongos, when the Fulani take the cows to go and graze, normally, when they are going, you see them throwing faeces, right, they will go and come back after two hours.
“They will come and see the faces. You will see how hard the top is. Go and get a stick to touch it or even step on it, and in the middle or beneath it, you will see how soft it is that it has become so soft.
He continued: “So the NDC government is like cow dung, on the surface, they have been able to play the optics game to make the NPP look bad as if they are angels, but beneath it, they are doing nothing.
Vincent Assafuah linked John Mahama’s administration unbelievably to cow dung, blaming them for deceiving Ghanaians just to make the NPP so unimportant.
The 35-year-old lawyer and politician assumed office in 2021 when he succeeded Anthony Akoto Osei in the Old Tafo Constituency.
