Cristiano Ronaldo is the player who has scored more goals in the history of football.
The Portuguese skipper has scored an unbelievable 916 goals after playing for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and currently with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
The 39-year-old has had immense experience in European Football, having enjoyed the Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian top flights.
The 5 time Balon d’Or winner believes the Saudi PRO League is better than the French Ligue 1.
“The Saudi league is better than the French Ligue 1, of course. Try running in 38, 39, or 40 degrees and see for yourself. France only has PSG, the rest are done,” Ronaldo revealed.
The French Ligue 1 has become PSG’s property in recent years after making it difficult for the other clubs to compete against them.
Ronaldo thinks Marseille, Lyon, Monaco and the rest of Ligue 1 are not competitive enough like Saudi clubs.
The Saudi PRO League has been able to attract many top stars in the last four transfer windows because of their financial backing from the government.
