Kwame Baah Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), was forcibly evicted from his office by unknown individuals, per Luv FM sources on Thursday.

Thugs allegedly linked to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) stormed the Baba Yara Stadium, locking all NSA offices except the one of the NSA Administrator.

Since 8th December 2024, when the NPP flagbearer, Dr Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia conceded defeat in the General Elections, NDC supporters have been spotted across the country storming offices to chase out officers.

Ghana Police Service is yet to release an official statement about the issue.

The NSA has been under severe criticism in the country since October 2024 after the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was closed down because it could not meet CAF’s standard for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, hence forcing Ghana Black Stars out of the region’s capital.
