Abu Francis, after three seasons in Belgium, decided to seek a new challenge and hence agreed to switch from the Belgian PRO League to French Ligue 1.
The former Right to Dream Academy graduate is a highly talented midfielder who played for Danish side Nordsjælland between 2019 and 2021, where he effectively showcased his talent to European clubs.
The Ghana international has won one cap for the Black Stars and will expect to catch the eyes of Otto Addo, Ghana’s head coach, with fantastic performances to fulfil his childhood dream of representing Ghana.
Abu has penned a four-year deal for Toulouse, who finished 10th in the French Ligue in the 2024-25 season.
“Want to say I’m very excited to join you guys. I’m looking forward to making new friends and teammates, and I wish you all the best for the season. Thank you,” Francis said to Toulouse fans.
