According to Spanish media AS Marca, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander Arnold’s move to Real Madrid is 90% done.
The 26-year-old English right-back’s contract will expire in the summer of 2025. Liverpool and Arnold have failed to reach an agreement on a new deal forcing the defender to fall in love with Real Madrid’s lucrative offer.
Real Madrid has developed a knack for signing top players in recent transfer windows as free agents. Bayern Munich’s duo Toni Kroos and Alaba David were signed by the European giants on a free transfer. Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger and France’s star striker Kylian Mbappe also joined the club as free agents.
The next on their newly successful plan is Trent Alexander Arnold of Liverpool. It will be a huge blow for Liverpool if Trent leaves as a free agent to Real Madrid.
However, many sources from the British Media says the Reds are ready to give Arnold a crazy offer in a bid to prevent him from leaving to the Spanish capital.
The right-back cum midfielder has been with Liverpool since 2004 having graduated from the famous Liverpool academy in 2016. He has played more than 250 matches for the Reds.
