Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori
has been clubless since leaving Orlando Pirates at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Per iDiski Times, the Ghanaian goalkeeper, 30, has reached an agreement with Amazulu to return to the PSL.

After 5 years with WA All-Stars between 2012-2017, Ofori joined Maritzburg in the South African Premier League.

In 2020, he secured a bumper deal to Orlando Pirates. During his time with the Buccaneers, Ofori enjoyed a successful spell, winning three MTN8 trophies and two Nedbank Cup titles. He made 58 appearances for the club, keeping an impressive 29 clean sheets while conceding only 35 goals.

The experienced goalkeeper who was Ghana’s number one during the 2023 AFCON will compete with Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Veli Mothwa and Olwethu Mzimela for the starting spot.

Ofori had won 33 caps for Ghana since making his debut in 2015.
