Augustine Boakye, 23, has signed a 4 year deal with newly promoted French Ligue 1 side Saint-Étienne with an option for a year renewal.
The former WAFA talented midfielder joined Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC in 2021. He spent some time with Wolfsberger ll before becoming a regular for the senior side.
Born in Bompata, Ghana, the youngster was confirmed by Saint-Étienne’s official website concerning his signing. “After the extension of Aïmen Moueffek and the arrivals of Yunis Abdelhamid, Ben Old and Zuriko Davitashvili, Augustine Boakye joins the Greens! Coming from Wolfsberger AC (Austria), the Ghanaian winger signed this Saturday with ASSE until 2028 with an additional year as an option.”
