The Tunisian Football Federation has sacked head coach, Faouzi Benzarti.

Faouzi Benzarti is probably the most experienced football coach on the continent as the Tunisian has had 45 different appointments as head coach since 1979.

The 74-year-old leaves the head coach role after just 3 months at the helm.

In Group A of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers, he won 7 points from 4 games.

The Tunisian Football Federation part ways with the experienced gaffer after he failed to beat Comoros in any of the two games.

Tunisia shockingly lost 1-0 to Comoros in MD3 of the Morocco 2025 qualifiers at home and drew 1-1 away against the minnows. The results were never satisfactory to the Tunisian authorities and decided to let Benzarti who was in his 5th stint as the national team head coach quit his position.

Tunisia have two crucial games against Madagaacar (away) and Gambia (home) in November for the AFCON 2025 qualifeirs.
