Vice President undergoes treatment at UGMC, set to receive further treatment abroad

The Presidency’s Communications Directorate has confirmed that Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has received medical treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).

A statement released on Sunday, March 30, 2025, and signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu said the Vice President suffered an unexpected health incident.

According to Felix Kwakye Ofosu, medical experts have advised that the Vice President be sent abroad to seek further treatment.

The condition in question has not yet been made public.
