The race between English giants Chelsea and Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli has been won by the latter as the Nigerian super star is set to sign for the Middle East club.
Osimhen, 25, has been declared for sale by Napoli after he made it clear that he wanted a new challenge.
English club Chelsea has been interested in the Nigerian striker but have accept to lose him to the Saudi PRO League.
Per German newspaper DW, Osimhen has rejected Chelsea offer and ready to fly to Saudi Arabia to sign for Ah-Ahli.
“Nigerian Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has turned down a move to join Chelsea Football Club.
“The Nigerian forward said he would prefer to join Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli in a four-year deal. His former club, Napoli, is expected to earn $80million plus add-ons for the Nigerian international. The 25-year-old will earn over $640,000 weekly in Saudi Arabia,” revealed DW.
The Super Eagles striker is set enjoy cash after agreeing close to €30m deal per year.
