The Ivorians are meanwhile in the form of their lives after winning 5 and drawing one in their last 6 games, although they will not be in Morocco.
Ghana in Group C will open their campaign with a difficult fixture against the brilliant Bayana Bayana and play Mali in matchday 2, and end the group with a fixture against Tanzania.
Ivory Coast did not qualify for the tournament but will take a huge consolation for hitting top form ahead of the 2026 WAFCON qualifiers fixture against Senegal.
WAFCON 2024 commences on Saturday, 7th June 2025.
