The Queens put aside the recent uncertainties and hit top form. Ghana drew goalless with Egypt in the first half, despite missing many chances.

Doris Boadu opened the scoring in the 52nd minute opened the scoring for Ghana. Two minutes later, Boaduwaa doubled Ghana’s lead after connecting with Marfo’s pinpoint low cross.
