The 2024 WAFU ZONE B U-20 Championship kicked off in Togo on Thursday afternoon with Ghana drawing 2-2 against Benin.
Jerry Afriyie’s 14th minute strike gave Ghana an early lead.
Modesti Konoudji and Gabriel Mpulero’s goals helped Benin overturned the scoreline before the close of the first half. Ghana went down 2-1 after failing to deal with Benin’s hot attacking threats.
