Nigeria lifted the 2024 WAFU ZONE B U-20 Championship after a 2-1 win over Ghana on Wednesday night at the Stade de Kegue in Togo.

Kparobo Arierhi’s brace helped the Flying Eagles secured the title.

Ghana’s Jerry Afriyie’s strike was not enough to save Black Satellites as they narrowly lost 2-1.

The highly rated Jerry Afryie was voted by CAF officials as the Best Player of the Tournament.

He also won the Top Scorer with 5 goals. The 19-year-old Thoughts FC’s left winger was part of Ghana’s team that won the 13th All-African Games in March 2024 in Accra.
