A popular Ghanaian singer Empress Gifty, has shared that she and other top gospel artists often face spiritual obstacles before releasing certain songs.
The experienced singer explained that these challenges arise because the songs are intended to bring positive change to lives of the people.
According to Gifty, the attacks can be so intense that artists might forget their own lyrics or feel discouraged from promoting their music.
“Sometimes, you go through attacks before a song comes out. The kind of challenges you face… it’s because the song will touch lives, so you need to be spiritually strong and fit,” she said.
“That’s why some people stop doing interviews when they release new songs. They lose focus, sometimes even becoming too focused on the money instead of promoting the message,” she told Jerry Justice.
