Ghana is in Mali for the matchday 3 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. It is a game Ghana cannot afford to lose in their bid to qualify for the 5th FIFA World Cup.

Head coach Atto Addo speaking ahead of the game, he revealed that Ghana is ready to face Mali in Bamako.

“Surely I think we are ready for the game. I was very satisfied with how the players understood how the players wanted to play. This is going to be a tough match away in Mali but we also have the quality to compete against them although we didn’t have a good AFCON. We have the players to get three points from Mali”

Otto Addo sounded very positive as he believes Ghana has the players to win the three points to boost their chances to top the group.

It is a game that will have a huge impact on the group with Mali hoping to beat Ghana to move 4 points ahead of the Black Stars.

The game i scheduled to take place on Thursday 6th June in Bamako. The capital town of Mali at 7 pm.
