Former Tano Bofoakwa goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi kept five clean sheets in the Bibiani Gold Stars’ title-winning season.
The 2024-25 Ghana Premier League was won by Bibiani Gold Stars, and one of their standout players was Kobi, who joined them from the relegated Tano Bofoakwa.
The Miners continued their fine form display of last season with an incredible performance in the GHALCA Top 4, where they lifted the trophy.
They recorded only one win in regulation time, but went ahead and won the competition, and it was against Asante Kotoko, who they will meet on Sunday for the Super Cup at their favourite Duns Park.
Goalkeeper Kobi has revealed that Gold Stars are not afraid of any team and will prepare to face the Porcupine Warriors once again.

“Once we have been able to lift the Ghana Premier League, we are not scared of any team”, Kobi said ahead of the game against Kotoko.
“We have been preparing, and we are not paying attention to the form of any team. We are ready to face Kotoko. We have to take the trophy,” he added.
The Duns Park has become one of the scariest venues in recent years, and Asante Kotoko must punch above their weight on Sunday to stand any chance of winning the trophy.
