Dreams FC’s General Manager, Ameenu Shardow has blamed the the hooliganism in Ghana’s various football grounds on the lack of enforcement of the rules and regulations of the GFA.
There are so many rules and regulations that protect our game, but almost everyone has failed to abide by them, leading to chaos and pandemonium always at the league grounds.
Ameenu Shardow said, “It is simply by enforcing the rules and regulations that we must abide by because, over the years, I think collectively, as industry players, we have failed to live up to the regulations we collectively accepted and adopted”.
“So, going forward, we have to ensure strict compliance with and adherence to the rules and regulations,” Ameenu added.
The only way for our football to fight hooligans is that the GFA will ensure that clubs strictly adhere to all the rules and regulations that govern the game.
“It affects all of us. Everything that has happened in Nsoatreman is a culmination of non-compliance with the rules and regulations we set for ourselves, so all of us need to come together to, more or less, reinforce our compliance position,” Ameenu Shardow concluded.
The Dreams FC’s General Manager revealed that everyone is greatly affected by Pooley’s demise, and it happened because the GFA and teams have failed to comply with all the rules and regulations of our football.
