Nsoatreman’s withdrawal from the Ghana Premier League has not been good for almost anyone, including the players of the club, who found themselves in a very dire situation.
Nsoatreman after being attacked in Kukuom en route to honour their league fixture at Bibiani at Dun’s Park against Samartex.
The club officially communicated to the GFA about insufficient security and hence decided to redraw from the league.
Having been at home for more than a month now, the club has failed to pay the players making life extremely difficult at home for them.
“We have not received any salaries or bonuses since our withdrawal from the league and we found ourselves in a difficult situation”, Walid Neymar Fusseini lamented.
Nsoatreman, in week 19 of the GPL, welcomed Asante Kotoko to the Nana Konamansah Park, where they won 1-0, but tragedy hit the country when Pooley was murdered.
The club has since then played only one game, and nobody knows what will happen to the players who are under contract.
