The Minister’s words suggest he is extremely disappointed in the Black Challenge after Ghana’s former president, John Dramani Mahama donated $10,000 to them after successfully defending CAF’s Amputee Nations Cup against Morocco.
“So when you come, after the successes and there is anything, the first point of call should be this office. We’ll not tolerate you using the state property for your benefits, “the minister said as quoted by Starrfm.com.gh.
“We’ve seen that you have received a lot of donations, which is good for us. You should account for it because it’s for the state and not for you,” Ussif added.
Many Ghanaians have been angered by the minister’s approach to the issue criticizing him severely.
Black Challenges have faced many problems whenever they need financial help to participate in any major tournament.
