Spain looked scary last night in their 4-1 thumping of many football fans’ favourite underdogs in the ongoing Euro 2024 in Germany.

Gerogia shocked Spain by scoring first through Le Normand’s own goal. Spain reacted and showed that they are indeed the overwhelming favourites for the Euros.

La Roja dominated Georgia and made sure that their counter attacking approach was not going to work.

On the left hand side of Spain’s attack was the 21-year-old Nico Williams, the younger brother of Ghanaian forward, Inaki who tormented and suffocated Gerogia’s defence especially the right hand side.

He rounded off his performance with probably a goal that can contest for the goal of the tournament. Nico’s performance on the night wowed many football fans and his elder brother Inaki praised him on X.

After the match, senior Williams posted: “What a great thing that you are my brother, Nico Williams.”

It was so emotional for Williams’ as they were there in their numbers to give their moral and emotional support to the Athletic Bilbao’s young forward.

Spain will play Germany in the quarter-finals of the 2024 European Championship.
