Mavis Nkrumah, an unemployed woman, has allegedly attacked her ex-boyfriend with acid.
The 30-year-old lady is said to have confronted her ex-lover, Gideon Frimpong, a 29-year-old taxi driver, during a late-night encounter.
Mavis had shown up at Gideon’s home at Abeka Fan Milk in Accra unexpectedly around 1 am and requested a ride. During the ride, Mavis engaged her ex-partner in a tense conversation about their ended relationship.
Reports suggest that the suspect inquired from Gideon why he did not want to marry her and then doused him with acid, causing the taxi driver severe burns.
