Wenchi-based club Young Apostles has qualified for the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season.
Young Apostles squared off against Techiman Heroes, winners of Divison One League Zone 1B and won on penalties after an exciting 1-1 draw in 120 minutes.
Kassim Sule put Young Apostles of Wenchi ahead after just 8 minutes of action.

In the second half, both teams showed great determination to carry the day but couldn’t find the winner.
30 minutes of extra time was played but due to both side’s inefficiency upfront, no goal was scored.
In the penalties shootout, Young Apostles won 4-3 on penalties to secure qualification to Ghana’s top flight for the first time in their history.
