Thirteen people are reported dead, and five others are critically injured in a fatal road crash involving a Ford Transit and a Toyota Hiace on the Sege Highway on the Ada road.
The accident occurred on Wednesday, September 2, as the two vehicles were reportedly travelling from Sege towards Ada.
Personnel from the Sege Fire Station responded to the crash and attended to the victims.
According to a report by the Public Relations Department of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), 18 people were involved in the accident, 13 of whom died.
The five survivors sustained critical injuries and were transported to the Sege Polyclinic, where they are receiving medical treatment.
