FIFA has announced its mind-blowing financial reward for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The world governing body of football in the 2022 FIFA World Cup paid Argentina a whooping $42 million for winning the ultimate.
FIFA is increasing it by adding $8 million to the 2022 prize money to make it $50 million.
All the 48 participating teams will receive 9 million dollars.
The teams that will qualify for the Round 32 stage will earn $11 million.
Round 16 teams will earn 15 million while Quarter-finals teams will get $19 million.
Fourth placed team will go home with $27 milion, while the third-placed team will earn $29 million.
