FIFA announced Saudi Arabia as the host of the 2034 World Cup. It was not a bit surprising because the world knew what was going to happen when the Middle Eastern nation had no bidding war.

The 2034 FIFA World Cup is a little over 9 years before kick-off in Riyadh but already the tournament is set to be dull, per the alcoholics.

Fans attending the Saudi Arabia 2034 World Cup will be banned from drinking alcohol outside and inside football venues, according to   Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the UK, Prince Khalid bin Bandar Al Saud.

“At the moment, we don’t allow alcohol. Plenty of fun can be had without it—it’s not 100 per cent necessary. If you want to drink after you leave, you’re welcome to, but we don’t have alcohol,” he said

“Everyone has their own culture. We’re happy to accommodate people within the boundaries of our culture, but we don’t want to change our culture for someone else. I mean, really? You can’t live without a drink?”

Also in hotels and everywhere in the country, people will not be allowed to drink their favourite beers and whiskies which always charge football fans.

The news has not been welcomed by the Western World since they have been drinking alcohol in their football centres since the game was introduced in their countries.

Two World Cups: 2026 to be co-hosted by the USA-Mexico-Canada and 2030 to be co-hosted by Morocco-Spain-Portugal-Argentina-Uruguay before Saudi Arabia hosts the 48-team tournament.

Teetotallers are going to enjoy the 2034 FIFA World Cup while topers are surely not going to have fun.
