In the year under review, the Egyptians won their 12th CAF Champions League title after beating Esperance de Tunis 1-0 on aggregate in the finals.
The Red Devils also won the Egyptian Premier League, showing that they are indeed the best on the continent.
It is the seventh time Al Ahly has won this wonderful award.

In the Women’s category, Congolese club TP Mazembe shocked the continent by winning the fourth edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League after beating the much fancied AS FAR in Morocco 1-0.
Many tipped them to win this award easily after the shocking triumph in Morocco just last month. It is the first time they have won this award.
