The mini Jollof Derby ended in a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Ghana against Nigeria clashes have been keenly contested over the years and this was not an exception.

The tension-laden match was something new to almost all the players of both teams as it was their first taste of the Jollof Derby.

The Black Galaxies of Ghana was the favourite of the game due to home advantage but the Nigerians made sure they were never going to return home with a defeat.

The first leg in Accra promised to be fireworks, and it did not disappoint even though the game failed to produce a single goal.

The CHAN Eagles of Nigeria will be the happiest of the two sides after the draw. The return leg will be so cagey because the winner will progress to the main tournament to be played in February 2025 across Uganda-Kenya-Tanzania.
