A deal has been agreed between broadcasters Startimes and the Ghana Football Association for the broadcasting rights of the Ghana Premier League second round.

The first round of the 2024-25 season has been poorly shown on Television, with 1965 pictures accompanied by 1966 coverage.

Lovers of the Ghana Premier League have expressed their displeasure on the horrible and outdated broadcast by some local TV stations.

The GFA, per Kessben FM Sports, has confirmed that Startimes is set to return as the main broadcaster of the league on television.

The GFA and Startimes failed to renew their contract when it expired at the end of the 2023-24 season due to differences in prize money.

Details have not been released by both parties but they are expected to communicate to Ghanaians sooner than later.

16 weeks have been played with just one left to end the first round.
