Nana Kwaku Agyeman said that whoever would get complacent on Sunday was going to lose. It was Vision FC’s first visit to Kumasi to face Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.
The trip was a special one because they were facing the most popular club in Ghana. It was most of Nana Agyeman’s players’ debut game against Asante Kotoko so they were fully prepared to fight at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Vision was bruised, thrashed and beaten by the imperious Asante Kotoko 4-1. After the game, the head coach of Vision FC revealed what led to their embarrassing defeat in the capital of the Ashanti Region.
“Let me congratulate Asante Kotoko; one of the boys told me that Coach Ogum made them watch my pre-match five times and capitalized on what I said to play a good game. My side gave Asante Kotoko too much respect in the game,” Nana Agyeman said.
Vision FC had won two games and drawn two in the last four games before facing Kotoko. The club sits 11th on the league table after winning 19 points in 17 games.
