Juventus’ draw continued in Belgium with the Italian club playing goalless against Club Brugge KV.

Atalanta smashed Sturm Graz 5-0 in Bergamo with Retegui, De Katalere, Lookman, and Brescianini each scoring one for the Italians.

AS Monaco defeated Aston Villa 1-0 through Wilfried Singo’s 8th-minute header.

PSV Eindhoven and Stuttgart each recorded an away win over Crvena Zvezda and Slovan Bratislava to boost their chances of progressing to the knockout. PSV won 3-3 while Stuttgart won 3-1.

Bologna scored twice in a space of one minute to overturn a 1-0 deficit. The 2-1 win over struggling was Bologna’s first win of the competition.

Benfica twice led against Barcelona but lost 5-4 eventually in the goal-fest at the Stadium of Light. Greek forward Vangelis Pavlidis scored a hattrick for the Portuguese side. Both Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha scored a brace for the Blaugrana in their hard-fought victory.

Atletico Madrid won 2-1 against Bayer Leverkusen to end the German club’s 11-game winning streak. Hincapie headed Mukiele’s wonderful cross on the stroke of halftime to give the Germans a deserving lead. Both sides ended the game with 10 men.
