Football fans have lamented Kurt Okraku’s absence ever since Nana Pooley was murdered in Nsoatre. The president of the Ghana Football Association was expected to be around engaging the clubs on how to restore sanity in our football but has not been heard even talking.
Nana Oduro Sarfo, a GFA Executive Council member, has, however, defended the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku’s absence.
“Kurt Okraku is currently unwell and that’s why he’s been absent from the football scene,” Oduro Sarfo revealed.
It has been rumoured that Kurt has travelled outside the country and is expected to be back soon.
Ghana Football Association has been represented at Pooley’s family house by Frederick Acheampong, but many expect the boss himself, Kurt Okraku, to be around.
